Welcome to Lake View Terrace Improvement Association
Lake View Terrace Improvement Association is your catalyst to local government and businesses. Since our conception, volunteer workers have dedicated countless hours to preserving and improving the quality of life in Lake View Terrace. The Lake View Terrace Improvement Association in partnership with other local community organizations has celebrated many victories over the years. There have been many beautification projects, which greatly enhanced the looks of the Lake View Terrace community.
We will continue to strive to improve the quality of life in Lake View Terrace and stand up for the residents.
We have several projects that needs volunteer workers to follow through on, like the Children’s Museum, which still remains unfinished. Grant writers to petition funds for the numerous other beautification projects in the Lake View Terrace Community. We need the resident to be our eyes and ears to alert us the various issues that often arise. In short, we need you. We need your help. We need you to attend our meetings, get involved and join the association. We look forward to seeing you at our next General Meeting.
Three $500 Scholarships To Be Awarded In LVT
The Lake View Terrace Improvement Association will award a $500 Scholarship to each of the three (3) winners of the Lake View Terrace College Student Essay Contest.
To enter the Lake View Terrace College Student Essay Contest the applicant must reside in Lake View Terrace with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
The applicant must write a 500-word essay titled “Why I Deserve the Scholarship.”
The criteria for submitting your 500-word essay are:
- 8.5 x 11-inch paper
- 1 inch margins all sides
- Arial or Times New Roman 12 pt font
- Double line spacing
- Page numbering (except the title page)
- Attach a title page
- Place your full name, address and phone number in the upper left corner of the first page of your Essay.
The required accompanying documentations, which will not be returned, are:
- Current Transcripts from your College/High School (must be unopened)
- Letter of Recommendation from your College/High School Teacher, Chair, Dean or Principal with contact information
- Current copy of your paid registration from the college.
- Current copy of your Legal California Identification that contains your name and address.
Place your essay with all the accompanying documentation in a manila envelope and mail to:

Only one submission per family will be accepted. Submission postmarked later than June 30, 2009 will not be accepted. The Winners will be notified by mail.
Swap Meet Every First Saturday of the Month
In today’s economy, we’re all looking for bargains. The Lake View Terrace Improvement Association’s outdoor swap meet is the ideal place to find the bargain you're shopping 
for. In addition, enjoy the Lake View Terrace Improvement Association’s famous hotdog or hotlink on a steamed bun with all the trimmings at the concession stand.
The swap meet is held every 1st Saturday of the Month unless it rains, then the swap meet will be held the following Saturday.
Vendor spaces are available on the first come first served bases starting at 6:30p.m. the morning of. NO ALCOHOL, PORN or FOOD allowed.

Join the association and let your voice be heard. Membership is open to all who live in Lake View Terrace or the vicinity.
Membership is $10 per person or $20 per family per year. Donations are also accepted.
