You will find Lake View Terrace is a place where cultural advocates live. There are Artist, Musicians, Writers, Poets and Actors living here. We hold annual art shows, musical concerts, plays and maybe we will one day have poetry readings. You will find it all right here in Lake View Terrace. For us, it's the place to be.
Public Information
The LVTIA general meeting is the 1st Monday of each month, unless members are notified that the meeting is canceled. If the 1st Monday is a legal holiday the meeting will be held the 2nd Monday.
The Swap Meet- We have a monthly swap meet were community members set up a space and sell items of all types The Swap Meet is held in the parking lot of our community recreational facility. It is held the 1st Saturday of each month unless it is a national holiday . .

Points of Interest
Nature Walking Ttrails- Beatiful outdoor areas to take a walk, jog or enjoy a bike ride.at the foot of the Angeles Forest and mountain range. There is something for every member of the family to enjoy.
Equine Trails- Board and ride your horse in Lake View Terrace. Several boarding stables are available which will board your horse at a reasonable rate. Along with providing riding lessons, you can rent a horse at an hourly rate from any of these boarding stables. Equestrian trick riding teams and lessons are available.
3 Parks- Enjoy the many parks in Lake View Terrace including our fishng pond and public swimming pool. If you like golfing we have two golf courses, Hansen Dam Golf Course and the new Angeles Golf Course.
Mountain Trails - If you like mountains the entire community is ringed along the northern edge with mountains where you can go for long hikes and enjoy the beautiful scenery
Several Churches- If you are seeking a church home Lake View Terrace has several local churches to provide you with solid spiritual direction. Looking for a church home try Mountain View Baptist or All Nations Church.
If you like wild flowers our wash in the spring is the place to take a long nature walk. You can share in the beauty with other walkers, joggers and horse back riders. Or if you are the indoor type, how about a game of basketball in the rec center gym, or you can play tennis in the out door tennis courts in back of the center.
How about a good book! you will find something for every family member to read. Enhance your interest in geography, science, history, religion, fiction and non fiction topics. There are books on everything from art to zoos. Come take the journey of reading and go any place in the world through a good book.
Do you like nature scenery? We've got it! Everything from mountains and streams to palm trees and sturdy oaks, cedars and fruit trees. Enjoy it all right here in Lake View Terrace.
Mission Statement
The Lake View Terrace Improvement Association was established and incorporated in 1940
a) To advance, foster, promote, develop, enhance, improve and protect, in every possible aspect, the interest and general welfare of the Foothill Blvd.-Hansen Dam Area in the County of Los Angeles; and to promote advance, foster, develop, improve, enhance, protect and cultivate the cultural, aesthetic, social, economic and general welfare of it's members.
b) To enter into , make, perform and carry out contracts of every sort and kind with any person, firm, association , corporation, or body politic, and with the government of the United States, or any state, county or city thereof, or any foreign government.
c) To acquire, own and hold such real and personal property as may be necessary or convenient for the transaction of its business having the same power to deal therewith as a natural person.
